1. What are my options if there is no dedicated public health specialist in my educational establishment?

Educational establishments without a dedicated public health specialist are supported by a mobile team.

2. What is a mobile team?

A mobile team is a team of professionals who provide periodic public health services remotely or in person to educational establishments that temporarily do not have access to a public health professional.

3. Who should an educational establishment contact for health building workshops?

Please consult the school’s public health specialist or, in their absence, the mobile team coordinator for health building and training activities. This information can be found in this section.

4. How can the Vilnius Public Health Bureau be of help to me?

The Vilnius Public Health Bureau organises health building activities for educational institutions and the residents of Vilnius City and District to share healthy lifestyle advice and analyse the health literacy and condition of Vilnius residents.

5. How much does it cost to attend the Bureau’s activities/events?

The Vilnius Public Health Bureau organises activities and events for free, except for compulsory first aid training, which is part of the compulsory health education.

Everyone who registers for an activity or event receives reminder emails before the event. If you have not received a reminder, please contact the coordinator of the activity or event.

9. Can I register for activities/events by phone?

To attend an activity or event, please register using the form provided – this will ensure that your attendance is confirmed. You may register by phone, but it is preferred that you complete your registration using the form provided.

10. Is true that everyone can participate in the Bureau’s activities/events?

Our events are open to everyone, but please consider the age group for which the activity or event is intended. Where an age group is stated, please note that only people in that age group can participate, as the programme is tailored around the specific needs of that group.
